Our products for pressure ulcers

“The initial care of pressure ulcers involves debridement, wound cleansing, the application of dressings, and possibly adjunctive therapy.”1

Pressure ulcer care involves a number of management strategies which include:1

  • Debridement of necrotic tissue at each assessment of the wound
  • Wound cleansing on initial inspection and at each dressing change
  • Exudate control through appropriate dressings, providing a moist wound environment without damaging intact skin or macerating the ulcer bed
  • Management of bacterial colonization and infection
